Biography:

Dr. Keerthi Katam earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India, specializing in cost-effective biological processes for wastewater treatment. She has authored over 30 research publications focusing on sustainable wastewater management, with key contributions in areas such as algal-bacterial systems for micropollutant and nutrient removal, photobioreactor design, and studies on surfactant biodegradability across Asian countries. Her work has been featured in leading journals including Science of the Total Environment and the Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, with several papers gaining significant citations. Dr. Katam's research bridges academic excellence and practical solutions, making a meaningful impact on environmental engineering and sustainable water treatment technologies.

Dr. Keerthi Katam’s research interests lie in sustainable and cost-effective wastewater treatment technologies.
