Biography:
Mr. Megha Raj Regmi is a distinguished environmental engineering researcher with over four decades of professional experience. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (1986, with Honors) from Ukraine and a Master’s in Environmental Engineering (2002) from the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
Mr. Regmi has dedicated his career to advancing knowledge and practice in water, wastewater, and environmental sanitation. Since beginning his professional journey in 1978, he has led numerous initiatives aimed at environmental sustainability. Notably, he served as the convener of the prestigious DEWASIN (IWA) International Conference held in Kathmandu, Nepal, in November 2009.
Currently, Mr. Regmi oversees three active research centers in Nepal, focusing on environmental protection and river conservation. He has authored multiple research papers published in international journals and serves as a reviewer for academic journals and conference proceedings, contributing significantly to the global environmental research community.
